Students explored innovative ways to minimize our ecological footprint and showcased their creative talent by crafting beautiful artworks using recycled materials inspiring others to embrace sustainable practices in their daily lives.
Students embarked on a nature walk around the school premises, taking the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of our surroundings. Along the way, they participated in a clean-up initiative, collecting litter and debris and learnt to segregate biodegradable and non biodegradable waste. The former was later used to form compost as students were taught about the process of composting by their mentors.
A regular event of Terra Firma Week was an environmental quiz, testing students’ knowledge of environmental issues and conservation efforts. Apart from that poems were recited songs being sung and dance performances were also there throughout the week based on the theme of Panch tatvas.
Winners of various competitions held throughout the week, including the waste reduction challenge, slogan writing, poster making etc were recognized and awarded prizes for their outstanding contributions.
